Технические примечания по настройке

  • Analog Grove output for relative ambient-light trends; raw ADC readings are not calibrated lux values.
  • Use a 3.3 V module supply for an initial ESP32 test and confirm that the output fits the chosen ADC input range.
  • Connect SIG to an ADC-capable GPIO. This analog module does not use an I2C address.

Функции

🌱Recognize wider spectrum: The sensor has a peak spectral response around 540 nm; this is a wavelength characteristic, not a light-intensity measurement range.

🌱Quick Response: Up to 20 ~ 30 milliseconds response time to detect light intensity.

🌱Higher reliability and sensibility: Based on the LS06-S photoresistor, a high-sensitive and reliable photodiode that can quickly detect the intensity of light in the environment.

🌱Low power consumption: 3.3/5V Supply, suitable for many microcontrollers and SBCs.

Grove unified socket: The sensor ensures “Plug and Play” and could be versatile for various applications.

Описание

As an updated version of Grove – Light Sensor 1.0, the Grove – Light Sensor v1.2 is an analog module and can output various electrical signals which can be converted to different ranges (It depends on the Analog-to-Digital-Converter on your controller board. For example, it can output 0-255 for an 8-bit ADC).

Compared with Grove – Light Sensor 1.0, the Grove – Light Sensor v1.2 is also aimed at measuring light levels, but with higher reliability and sensibility. It replaced the traditional LDR GL5528(light-dependent resistor) with an LS06-S photoresistor, a high-sensitive and reliable photodiode, to detect the intensity of light in the environment. The resistance of photoresistors decreases when the intensity of light increases. Also, a dual OpAmp chip LM358 on board produces a voltage corresponding to the intensity of light(i.e based on resistance value). The analog output generally increases in brighter conditions and decreases in darker conditions; determine thresholds from measurements.

And just like other grove modules, it is interfaced with Grove port which can save you a lot of work in the wiring. It will be a perfect choice if you are looking for a plug-and-play Arduino light sensor apart from the traditional LDR Arduino sensor and Arduino photocell sensor.

Apply this Grove-Light Sensor to your Home Automation system, this Voice Based on Home Appliances Controlling System enables you to control the home appliances through vocal command! In this project, you will need:
