Technical setup notes
- ReSpeaker Lite audio board with a pre-soldered XIAO ESP32S3. The XMOS/XU316 and ESP32-S3 run different firmware.
- Use the XIAO USB port for Arduino/ESPHome application upload; use the XMOS USB port near the audio jack for USB audio or XMOS DFU firmware update.
- The audio profile must match the application sample rate and interface: USB-audio and I2S images are different. A 16 kHz test and a 48 kHz Home Assistant configuration must not be mixed unchanged.
- Echo cancellation, noise suppression and automatic gain control are audio processing features. Speech recognition and intent handling require the chosen software/voice pipeline.

🌱Embracing Open Source: It’s compatible with Arduino, PlatformIO, MicroPython, CircuitPython for furthur developement.
Compatible with Popular Voice Assistants: This kit allows you to build your own natural language processor and connect it to Home Assitant via ESPHome, Amazon Alexa Voice Service, Google Assistant, or Cloud Speech-to-Text service, enabling you to ask questions and issue voice commands to your programs.
