Understand your quote and file review

Understand the difference between an uploaded preview, an initial quotation and the confirmed manufacturing requirements.

Updated Nov 1, 2026 · 1 min read

From files to a confirmed order

  1. Submit the final design revision and required quantities and specifications.
  2. Review any file questions, exclusions or requested changes with support.
  3. Confirm the agreed revision, price, included work and proposed production schedule.
  4. Follow the payment and release instructions for your order. Payment, file approval and material availability can be separate conditions; ask support to confirm when your order is released to production.

What a preview confirms

A preview helps you identify the uploaded files visually. Upload success does not by itself confirm that all features are manufacturable, all design errors have been detected, or the initial price is final.

Keep a written record

  • Quote or order reference and the approved file revision.
  • Board specifications, assembly scope and approved substitutions.
  • Any testing, exclusions, delivery needs and unresolved questions.
  • The confirmed production start conditions and lead time.

If you need to change something

Use the change and cancellation process. Sending a new attachment does not automatically stop production or replace an approved revision.
